Chloe Park

This piece is inspired by my time living in Hawaii and the amazing people I met there. The Big Island has an active volcano on it that makes the island very much alive and always shifting, transforming, evolving, growing. The “mana” - spiritual energy of power and strength is intensely palpable, even to someone that doesn’t believe in energy. The Hawaiian concepts of living “pono” - doing right by your neighbors/community and “kuleana” - your role/responsibility otherwise known as your gift that you bring to the table/into society at large, really resonated with me as a framework.

This glaze combo is also named after a client of mine before he left for his world music tour. I was so impressed by his genuine kindness and embodiment of these values with a higher state of intention in mind as a human. Even as one of the world’s biggest pop stars, he is the most real and down to earth. Having your feet on the ground is a trait I respect and value.
